These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website power4progress.gr (the "Site"), operated by Power4Progress ("P4P", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About us
Power4Progress is a consulting and research company established in Greece, providing services in naval architecture and marine engineering, research and experimental development, professional training, and scientific and technical advisory. Our registered address is Kleisthenous 60, 15344 Gerakas, Greece, and our contact email is info@power4progress.gr.
2. Scope of these Terms
These Terms govern your general use of the Site only. They do not govern any specific engagement, service contract, training programme or research project, which are subject to separate written agreements between P4P and the client.
3. Permitted use
You may use the Site for lawful informational and business purposes, including learning about our services, contacting us and subscribing to our newsletter. You agree not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its underlying systems; (b) scrape, harvest or systematically extract data; (c) introduce malware or interfere with the Site's operation; (d) use the Site in a way that violates applicable law; or (e) reproduce, distribute or modify Site content beyond what is permitted by these Terms or by applicable copyright law.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the Power4Progress brand, design, source code and underlying technology — is owned by or licensed to P4P and protected by Greek and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the Site for personal and internal business purposes. All other rights are reserved.
5. Submissions and inquiries
Submitting a contact form or any other inquiry through the Site does not create a contract, business relationship, or any obligation on either party. P4P decides at its sole discretion whether and how to respond. Project, training and advisory engagements are formed only by a separate written agreement signed by both parties.
6. Third-party links and services
The Site may include links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site or service, and accessing them is at your own risk.
7. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, P4P disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness and non-infringement. Information published on the Site is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, engineering, legal or other advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, P4P, its directors, employees and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless P4P and its representatives from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process personal data. By using the Site you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. The revised version will be posted on the Site with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of the Site shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Athens, Greece, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you may have under the law of your country of residence.
